Hi. If I'm traveling with my hubby s8 s1 and 6 month old. If our flight arrrives at 10am and we are using Magical Express but hotel check-in isn't till 3 at the Polynessian what do we do??? HELP!!!

Once at the airport, it'll take you at least an hour to get to your resort using Magical Express. On our last vacation to WDW, we got to the airport at 4:30 and were at the Grand Floridian at 5:45 p.m. However, we did not have to wait in any lines at the Disney Welcome Center. Timing will vary depending on waits and traffic delays.

I wrote down our timeline, so let me share it with you.

    4:30 off plane
4:50 Magical Express desk (Disney's Welcome Center) after stopping at rest rooms
    5:00 Seated on bus
    5:10 Bus departed
5:13 Disney's Magical Express video began
    5:32 entered Walt Disney World
    5:35 Magic Kingdom toll booth
    5:41 Polynesian (arrive your resort!)
    5:43 depart Polynesian
    5:45 arrived Grand Floridian.
This was our stop but the bus was going on to the Wilderness Lodge and then the Contemporary Resort.

Once at the Polynesian, I would go directly to the Front Desk. Sometimes rooms are ready early and if so, they will give you your room assignment and let you enter the room. You could always mention that you are traveling with an infant and would appreciate the first available room. However, this might not enable you to get any other room requests that you have made. Decide if getting in to your room early or room location is most important to you.

I would then head to get some lunch right at the resort.

You should have your carry-on bags with you. Make sure to pack any items that you will need in these bags. Note that it takes up to 3 hours for your checked luggage to arrive the resort if you have attached the yellow Magical Express tags.

I would then take the family to change. It always helps to get in to fresh clothes after traveling. Or even get on swim suits. There are rest rooms near the Nanea volcano pool. Find a shady spot for rest. Enjoy a refreshing swim. If the weather does not cooperate, there are some quiet, public lounging areas within the nearby longhouses.
