I’m traveling with a group to The Campsites and will be arriving the day after some of them. Can I utilize the bell hop service even though my family will already be checked in? How is that done? I’ve never done that before.

Howdy Erin, and welcome to planDisney!

Thanks for swinging by en route to your wilderness adventure. It looks like your magical vacation begins in just a few days, so let's get going!

Good news! You are welcome to utilize Bell Services throughout your stay at The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. Upon arrival at the resort, head to the Reception Outpost where you'll find a podium for Bell Services. The Cast Members here can store your bags until you are ready to come back for them, or if you would like help bringing your luggage to your campsite, they can assist with that, too. Be sure your family shares the campsite number with you so you'll know where to direct Bell Services. Sometimes they'll use a golf cart to transport you and your things to the campsite. You can also take the internal resort bus to your campsite with your suitcases.

Once you're settled, it's time for the magic to begin! While the tranquility of Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort makes you feel like you've gotten away from it all, you're just a quick, scenic boat ride from Magic Kingdom Park, Disney's Wilderness Lodge, and Disney's Contemporary Resort. To reach EPCOT, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park from your campsite, hop on an internal resort bus until you reach the Reception Outpost. From there, you can catch a theme park bus from the Outpost Depot.

I hope you have a fantastic time escaping to pioneer paradise with your family, Erin! Thanks for sending your question to planDisney, and don't hesitate to stop by again if there's anything else we can do to make your vacation even better.

    Wishing you magic and memories,
    Betsy
