I'm traveling with family of four: myself,my wife,daughter-13,son-18.First,we were thinking a 5 or 6 night trip.wondering if that's too short? While we aren't on a super-tight budget ,we are mindful not to go to long and pay to much. Thanks!

    Hello Richard,

My honest opinion is - the more days at Disney World, the better! But I know that reality can get in the way of our vacation plans. Dang work! Not to mention the cost of travel these days.

My family has flown into Orlando from Cleveland for a three day, three night trip. I'll admit, that was a bit whirlwind. But it helped us get our Disney fix.

So I think a five or six night trip is a good amount of time to spend at Disney. It allows your family at least one day in each Theme Park. And it gives you time to explore the Resorts, hang at the pool, or visit a Park a second or third time. I think if you're armed with a good plan of attack for which attractions, shows, and restaurants you want to hit, you will be in good shape. And remember, all of us here at the Moms Panel are here to help too!

    Good luck!

My family loves our Main Street in Ohio. But there's simply no comparison to Main Street U.S.A.! We don't get to Disney quite as often as I'd like, but that just means finding new ways to sprinkle Pixie Dust on our adventures! Learn More About Monina
