Hello Micah!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
We are delighted to answer your very first question. You will soon be making magical memories with your family at the place “Where Dreams Come True”!
Traveling with a baby can be challenging at times, especially when it comes to food. The first time I traveled with my daughter she was 9-months-old and would also only eat baby food, so I totally understand your concerns.
I am happy to share with your that merchandise locations at Disney Resort hotels and the
Baby Care Centers located at all four theme parks offer you the possibility or purchasing baby food (usually Gerber brand), as well as diapers and other baby supplies that you might need. I must also add that the Baby Care Centers are amazing locations for a diaper change, for a break, and if you have to nurse or feed your child.
My experience with diapers is a little more complicated because my princess was allergic to most brands, so I always preferred to take them from home and avoid the risk of not finding the brand and/or size she was wearing at the time. A great suggestion is shipping diapers to your Disney Resort hotel, this way you will not have to add them to your luggage – they take so much space! I recommend
sending items one week before arrival, and don’t forget to include your name, confirmation number, and check-in date on your boxes. Please note that a $5.00 fee will be charged per package delivered to you.
I hope this helps you while planning, Micah! Please stop by real soon if you have additional questions.
Best magical wishes,
Thiana
