Hi Michele!
The photo credit packages listed for pre-purchase are the same prices as if you were to buy them onboard the ship. If you purchase a smaller package and end up needing to upgrade, you can do this while onboard. You can split them between staterooms, which is nice since you will be traveling with 4 families. On my recent cruise on the Dream, I traveled with 3 parties total and was able to mix and match all of our photos. We also ended up purchasing the PhotoCD as well so we could print our own photos when we got back home. You cannot combine staterooms on the PhotoCD unless someone from another stateroom is in the photo with you and they do not come with the borders.
Bon voyage and get ready to say CHEEEEESE!
Leslie
