Hi, I'm traveling to Disney world with my 9month old daughter and I have a couple questions. 1 Are car seats needed for the resort bus and/or other park transportation options? 2 Are there strollers for younger babies available at the park to rent?

Hello Patricia! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

As the greatest entertainment destination for young children in the world, Walt Disney World Resort is prepared to accommodate and create Endless Magic for each and every new Mouseketeer.

When using Complimentary Resort Transportation, infants are not required to be in car seats when traveling. Infants may be held for the duration of the trip. If you bring your own stroller, you must remove children and collapse the stroller when traveling on buses and water taxis. You are welcome to leave children in strollers and wheel a stroller directly onto monorails.

The strollers available to rent in the 4 Theme Parks and Disney Springs are all the same size, made from a hard plastic material that is more suitable for children that can sit up on their own merit and do not provide suitable support for infants. I recommend that you bring your own stroller for the comfort of your child or look into the strollers available to rent from a Disney Featured Provider.

I have rented from a Disney Featured Provider for most of my Walt Disney World Resort vacations and have been very pleased with the service, quality and comfort of the strollers for my children.

    Happy Travels!
