Hi, I'm traveling to Disney World later this year from the UK with my disabled children. I know that UK residents aren't yet able to pre-register for the DAS, but I wonder if this will change, and when? It would be so helpful for us!

    Hei Hei there, Elaine.

What can I say except you're welcome here at planDisney! I'm so glad you sailed out to find where the sky meets the sea and found your way here today. Your vacation to The Most Magical Place on Earth is just beyond the horizon. Are you counting down the months yet?

Elaine, if I could wave a magic wand and make the pre-arrival registration option for Disability Access Service (DAS) available to you ahead of your trip, I would whisper bibbidi-bobbidi-boo and make it happen right now. Unfortunately, this option is only available to Guests based in the United States at this time, and we have no updates as to when or if we can expect this option to expand across the pond before your trip this year. Don’t let that worry you a wink though. The good news is you can register for this service as soon as you arrive at the first theme park of your trip. Just head to the Guest Relations location there, and a friendly Cast Member will walk you through the registration process and set up your initial selections should your children meet the qualifications. Keep an eye out for the Guest Experience Team locations (marked with blue umbrellas) during your park days. The Cast Members there can assist you with any of your DAS needs should you have any issues or need a little help making subsequent selections.

Have you considered purchasing tickets to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party for your trip? The Disney Parks Blog just announced the return of this fan-favorite event that has seasonal treats, snow on Main Street, U.S.A., Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, and so much more. It’s sure to be oodles of festive fun!

Well, Elaine, I’m off to return the Heart of Te Fiti. Please stop by planDisney again if you have further questions before your magical holiday. There's no telling how far we'll go to find the answers you need.
