I'm traveling to Disney World in July for my daughters 5th Bday. I want to make the best of my 7 days and want to schedule some character dining for my daughter. Can anyone suggest which character dining event is the best , also what else is fun for a 5yr

    Hi, Natacha!

There are so many great character meals!  Some of my favorites and which meals I prefer!

-Cape May Cafe breakfast buffet in the Beach Club
-Chef Mickey's dinner at the Contemporary
-Crystal Palace buffet for lunch at the Magic Kingdom

Once you decide on your dining locations, make sure to make your Advance Dining Reservations.  Character meals fill up quickly, so do it soon!

Your 5 year old might also enjoy a fun night out at something like the Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage or maybe a makeover at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique.  Renting a surrey bike at the Boardwalk is always fun, but  also take time to just kick-back at the resort and enjoy the pool and any pool activities taking place.

Wishing you and your family a very magical birthday and Happy Birthday wishes to your princess!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
