I'm traveling to Disney for the Princess Half Marathon this February with my husband and 6 year old, 3 year old and 6 month old. Should we book a villa at the Animal Kingdom lodge or a club level standard room at Wilderness Lodge?

    Hi Julie!

You are going to love the Princess Half Marathon!

Both of the resorts you listed are amazing.  There are probably some pros and cons to each one, though.

My first thought was that the rooms at the Wilderness Lodge are a little on the small side.  The regular rooms at Animal Kingdom Lodge are about the same size, but the villas would be bigger.

The club level feature is a big pro for Wilderness Lodge.  It's very convenient to have food and drinks available.   Wilderness Lodge is also much closer to the other parks, so that is a plus for it, too.

My advice would be, if you want a bigger room, then go with Animal Kingdom.  If you want the convenience of club level and proximity to parks, especially Magic Kingdom, then go with Wilderness Lodge.

You really can't go wrong with either one.  They are both great!

I hope this helps!  Please let me know if you have any other questions.
