Hi Jen! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
Only a few more days until you will be enjoying the Walt Disney World Resort again with your
kiddos. It is always fun to see "The Most Magical Place on Earth" through the eyes of your little ones. With two children the same ages as your kids, I know just how much goes into planning each vacation day!
I am happy to share what I pack for each day in the theme parks with my young kids. Sunscreen is an obvious one, but also consider hats and sunglasses if you think your kids with wear them. Since summer temperatures are here, my family always takes in a mini-fan for each of us. They can be found at many discount retailers and are typically very inexpensive.
When each of my kids were potty training and still prone to accidents, I made sure to bring in a change of clothes, just in case. You will also find ponchos in our bag - one for each family member and one to cover our
stroller. Since Florida weather is unpredictable, having a poncho has always been an essential item for us so we don't have to stop exploring because of rain!
If you have picky eaters like I do, bringing familiar snacks with you into the theme parks is a great way to avoid "hangry" meltdowns and keep the energy of your kiddos up. I also recommend bringing in a water bottle for the little ones. You can refill them with complimentary ice water from
Quick-Service locations and this will be a way to make sure your children stay well-hydrated.
I hope this helps with your planning, Jen! Have a wonderful vacation and please let us know if you have any other questions.
