Welcome to the Moms Panel Mike!
The Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Food & Beverage team is committed to offering a wide range of options to accommodate Guests. We always have to make special requests for one of my sons & I am amazed how totally awesome they are and how stress free that makes my trip.
If you are dining at a location that typically serves burgers you can indeed ask for a plain burger. They also have chicken fingers on many of the menus throughout the resorts. If you are dining at locations where they don't normally serve items that your son will eat, you can make a special dietary request. When you make your Advanced Dining Reservations (ADRs), have them note that you will have a special dietary request. About 14 days prior to your trip, send an email to
SpecialDiets@DisneyWorld.com. They will be happy to notify the appropriate restaurant Chefs and Managers of your upcoming visit. They will email you a "Guest Allergy - Dietary Request Form ". It will be necessary to complete the form in its entirety so that they can best assist you. Once you've completed the form, you can return it by email to
specialdiets@disneyworld.com or by fax (they will provide you with the current fax #).
When you arrive at your dining location, please tell the hostess that you have a special dietary request. You're also welcome to speak to a chef or a manager on duty when arriving at the dining location. The Chef often comes out to the table before preparing the meal just to make sure they know exactly what you want. Be sure to check out the
Special Dietary Requests section.
Please feel free to visit us with any other questions during your planning. Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison
