Hi, I’m going to travel from Puerto Rico to go to Disney Parks with a 1 and 9 month old and a 5 month. Can they ride some attractions with us?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Gineska! Magical vacations with the whole family top my list! My little kids have been visiting Walt Disney World Resort with me since they were 9 months old.

Did you know most of the attractions in Magic Kingdom have no rider height requirement? Rides like It’s A Small World, Peter Pan’s Flight, and Dumbo the Flying Elephant allow the entire family to ride; even little babies! I remember my daughter’s face as we lifted up in Dumbo for her first flight. Her eyes were wide open and she raised her hands. Ever since, it’s been on the top of her ride request list. While you and the kids may not be able to ride starter coasters like Goofy’s Barnstormer to Seven Dwarfs Mine Train together, if you have another adult coming along you may want to look into Rider Switch Service, which will let you ride without taking the kids. The Baby Care Centers will also be of use to you; they are located in the four main theme Parks in various locations, offering changing tables, nursing/pumping areas, feeding stations and a quiet TV room.

If I can help you find the complimentary amenities at Walt Disney World Resorts like highchairs, cribs and playpens, please let me know. I’m a pro at traveling with babies and preschoolers! ~ Lindsey P.
