I'm being told that I can't book more than one room in my name. I haven't seen where people have mentioned this issue before. Is this normal?

    Hello Valerie!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.   I'm as thrilled as Pooh with a hunny pot to see you've stopped in to ask a question about traveling to Walt Disney World Resort.   It's my pleasure to be able to help you out today.

I don't know if you are trying to book more than one room during the same time period or not, so I will answer for both scenarios.  If you are trying to book multiple rooms during the same time period at the same Resort you will need to have a different name on the reservations.   You can personally make the reservations either online or over the phone.   You will put yourself as a lead Guest on one room and another adult traveling with you the lead Guest on the second room.   That Guest does not need to be on the phone or pay for the room you can do this.  Valerie, you just cannot be listed on both rooms as you would not personally be occupying both rooms at the same time.    For the second scenario,  if you are booking rooms during different time periods they certainly can both have your name as the lead Guest.  For example if you book for a week in January at Disney's Pop Century Resort and than book another room in February at Disney's Pop Century Resort both reservations can be under your name.

Valerie I encourage you to check out the Special Offers, Deals & Discounts page of the Walt Disney World Resort website before you book.   This page currently has some great special offers and they are being updated constantly.  I always look here before I book my vacations,  these offers have saved me a lot of money through the years.

I hope this has helped to clear up any confusion.  If you think of anything else we can assist you with, please let us know.   Lending a helping hand to fellow Guests is what Disney Parks Moms Panelists enjoy most.
