Greetings, Zoey! I think that visiting the Disneyland Resort for your daughter's birthday is an excellent idea!
I love that she is into Star Wars because there are a lot of Star Wars-related things she can experience in Tomorrowland in Disneyland Park. But first, stop by City Hall on Main Street, U.S.A. for her complimentary birthday button. Then, head straight to
Hyperspace Mountain and either hop in the queue or obtain a
FASTPASS to enjoy a shorter wait later in the day. This roller coaster in the dark is set to the amazing Star Wars score and features dialogue and imagery from the films. Next,
Star Tours - The Adventures Continue is a "must do" attraction for any Star Wars fan.
Perhaps while you wait for a FASTPASS return time, you can explore all the interesting things in
Star Wars Launch Bay. There are authentic props and costumes from the films and you can even meet a few Star Wars characters. And don't worry for a second if there will be kids her age there! You will find that folks of all ages love Tomorrowland and Star Wars, so your daughter will be in good company.
As far as bringing a doll on the attractions, if it is small, that shouldn't be a problem. Some attractions will allow her to hold the doll while she rides and others will require her to stow all belongings either by her feet or in a pouch or bag in the ride vehicle. I suggest placing the doll in a small backpack while riding attractions so it doesn't become dirty or damaged.
Wishing your daughter a pixie-dusted birthday!
