I'm thinking about upgrading our Disney tickets to annual passes when we get to our Disney hotel. We have currently selected our fast passes, will we lose are fast past selections if we upgrade.

    Hi, Rebecca!

I love being an Annual Passholder, it’s like being a member of the most magical club on EARth. I’m also excited to be helping you with your question today, I’m currently on property and did this very action last night! I had already purchased tickets for my family and made FastPass+ reservations at the 60 day mark, but on arrival, we decided to upgrade the rest of the family to Annual Passes - I can tell you all about my experience and what to do for your family, too.

First, you’ll need to accomplish this magical upgrade at a theme park Guest Relations Office or the Welcome Center in Disney Springs. Next, you’ll only pay the difference in cost between the tickets you purchased and the price of the Annual Passes, make sure to check your receipt. Finally, and the best part, your FastPass+ reservations you’ve previously made will stay in tact - just like magic! Another tip, it’s helpful if whoever takes care of the upgrade has everyone’s MagicBands with them.

I hope this helps, Rebecca! Please let me know if you should have any additional questions. I am here to help!

    Happy New Year!
