Hi Laura,
Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. My family and I often stay in a one-bedroom villa when we visit Walt Disney World. This gives us a kitchen so that we can prepare some of our own meals while we are on vacation at Walt Disney World. We find that this saves us not only money, but also time. There are a few options for getting groceries while you are visiting
Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa.
At Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, you will find The Artist's Palette, which offers not only quick service dining, but also shopping including some groceries. The grocery selection is limited here, but you should find items such as bread, milk, some frozen items, and so on.
If you want a larger selection of groceries, there are a couple of services that can arrange to have them delivered to you. First, if you are a Disney Vacation Club member, you can order groceries through the
Disney Vacation Club member website. Once there, go to the tab for "Plan Vacations," and scroll down to "Pre-Arrival Checklist." On this page will be an area for ordering groceries. Choose the form for your resort, and fill it out. Please do note that this form must be faxed or mailed back in, and must arrive three business days before you check in.
Another option that will work whether you are a Disney Vacation Club member or not is to visit the unofficial website gardengrocer.com. Garden Grocer will deliver groceries to your Walt Disney World resort.
I hope that this information is helpful for you, Laura. Please do let us know if you have any further questions!
