Hi, I'm thinking of trying Garden Grocer(I hear you all recommend it so much) My ? is we will be arriving on Dec 1st. When would you suggest I start placing my order to arrive at the All Star Music. Any suggestions you can give for the ordering process? :)

    Hi, Cynthia!

I am team Garden Grocer every time my family visits the Walt Disney World Resort. We always stay at Walt Disney World Resort Hotels and take advantage of the efficient and complimentary bus transportation offered. Therefore, we do not have a car available to pick up these things ourselves. I also do not want to spend time during my magical vacation grocery shopping - YUCK!

Currently, if you order at least 60 days prior to your arrival, gardengrocer.com is offering a 10% discount off your order. I highly suggest placing your order as soon as you know exactly what items you would want. They do have a limited amount of delivery slots available each day, and they can fill up! If you order early and decide you need to add and/or remove an item, simply call them and they can adjust the order for you. I have done this myself and it was not a problem.

There are many items we consider our 'Garden Grocer' staples. We always order cases of bottled water, as we can bring the bottles into the Theme Parks with us. We do not enjoy the taste of the water available at the water fountains. We also order half gallons of skim milk as my boys will only drink skim and we have only found 2% at the hotel food courts and restaurants at the Theme Parks. The half gallons fit nicely in the doors of the room mini-fridges. Most of our order consists of breakfast items such as granola bars, fresh fruit, mini-muffins, etc. We like to grab something quick for breakfast so we are at the Theme Parks early and ready to start our magical day! I am also sure to get plenty of snacks to satisfy late night hunger attacks that occur after the hotel food courts are closed.

Wishing you and your family a magical vacation, Cynthia!

Hi, I’m Rachel! I am a “boy mom” to two rowdy little men at home and married to my high school sweetheart. I am fortunate enough that my prince charming loves all things Disney just as much as I do! For me, planning a trip to Walt Disney World can be just as magical as being there. It brings our family together as we dream, plan, and count down the days. I would be honored to help plan your visit and share in your family’s very own magic! Learn More About Rachel
