    I'm thinking of running the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror 10-miler. My daughter has really become a running enthusiast and is my running buddy. She will be 13 at the time of the race. Will she be old enough to run/walk it with me?

    Hi Suzanne,

    The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror Ten Miler looks like a fabulous race, doesn't it?  There are still many details yet to be released about this race, including the age requirements.  Typically, participants must be 14 years old to take part in the Disney half-marathons.  If the same is true for the 10-miler, your daughter will not yet be old enough to register for the event.  However, since the race about which you inquired is shorter, maybe the age limit will be a bit younger.  We'll have to wait until February 14th to find out for sure.  That's when registration for the event will open.  Of course, you could always call the fine folks at runDisney (407-938-3398) before registration opens to see if they can give you more details about the race.  I'll keep my fingers crossed that your daughter will be able to run with you.  What a magical experience that would be!
