Aloha Lindsay,
Renting a car is a great way to see the island while staying at
Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa and driving an electric car is a breeze. Let's take a look at EV charging at the Resort.
I'm happy to share that Aulani has several L2 chargers in the parking structure. You'll find the chargers on both Level 1 and Level 2. The chargers are part of the ChargePoint network, but the charging is free. If you are a
Disney Vacation Club Member staying on Points, you'll receive complimentary self-parking for the duration of your stay. Otherwise, there is a parking fee of $40 per day (subject to change).
If you find yourself in need of a quicker charge, there are a few Level 3 (fast) chargers located nearby in Kapolei, just a short drive from the resort. Apps like PlugShare or ChargePoint can help you locate these public chargers with ease and show real-time availability.
With charging options both on-site and nearby, you’ll be able to relax and enjoy your time in paradise, whether you’re soaking up the sun at the Waikolohe Valley pool or taking a scenic drive up to the North Shore.
I hope this helps you plan a smooth and eco-friendly Hawaiian adventure! If any more questions pop up as you plan your Hawaiian getaway, please feel free to stop by planDisney again - we’d love to help make your trip even more magical!
Mahalo for visiting planDisney,
Candace
