If you purchase a regular daytime
theme park ticket on the same day as
Disneyland After Dark: Sweethearts’ Nite, you can absolutely enjoy Disneyland Park like normal during the day. However, when the special event begins, guests without a Sweethearts’ Nite ticket will be asked to exit the park, typically around 9 p.m. A separate event ticket is required to stay for the after-hours celebration. While event tickets are currently sold out, it never hurts to keep checking, as limited availability can sometimes pop up.
The good news is that your evening does not have to end there. After leaving the park, I recommend heading over to
Downtown Disney District. You could bowl a few games at
Splitsville Luxury Lanes, browse for souvenirs at
World of Disney, or enjoy a relaxed dinner and soak in the lively nighttime atmosphere.
