I'm thinking POR in May or early Nov (both 2013), 2 adults/3 kids (12, 10, 8) for 6 nights. We want lower crowds & warm weather for the waterparks (also concerned about lovebugs). Which time would you recommend & any events to stay clear of? Thanks

    Hi Christy!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel.

This is a great question. There isn't much difference in terms of whether and crowds between May and November as long as you stay away from the holidays such as Memorial Day in May.  However, I do recommend going in early November. That is because if you go early enough you can enjoy the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival, which is a fabulous event typically held from late September to early November. If you pick the rights dates, you might also be able to attend Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party held on select nights in the Magic Kingdom. That is a fantastic event that always gets me in the holiday spirit.

I hope this helps. Please write back with more questions.
