Hi, Mollie!
I'm so excited that you've stopped by with this great question! You sound like a planner after my own heart with wanting to get started on your planning so far in advance.
The first thing I recommend you do is to order your
Free Disney Parks Vacation Planning DVD. It is so much fun to sit and watch as the guide takes you through all of the fun to be had at the Walt Disney World Resort. You'll see Theme Parks, Attractions and Resort hotels - it's a very exciting way to get ready for an upcoming trip as well as to make some decisions on what's most important.
You'll be happy to know that you are able to make Resort hotel reservations 499-days in advance. So, if you have an idea of the Resort you'd like to stay in for your daughter's birthday, I would reserve that first. If any
Special Offers are announced at a later date, you can always call and have that applied to your reservation.
Once you've received your DVD, it's a good idea to pick out some of the dining locations that you're most interested in, especially for your daughter's birthday!
Advanced Dining Reservations are accepted 180-days in advance and are highly recommended. The restaurants at Walt Disney World are extremely popular and they do fill up quickly, so you'll want to have your list ready early. Reservations can be made online or by calling (407) WDW-DINE.
I sure hope this helps and gets you off to a good start. Please don't hesitate to write back in if we can help with any other questions!
Wishing you Pixie Dusted vacation planning!
