I'm thinking of going to Disney World for a few days a week before my birthday; what are some lesser known ways I can make it extra special for my inner child?

    Hi Brie,

Happy early birthday to you! What a fantastic idea to celebrate at the Walt Disney World Resort! I'll be joining in the birthday festivities there this year too! While my first suggestion might not be a hidden gem, I always recommend grabbing a birthday pin and wearing it proudly. It's a simple yet magical way to receive extra birthday wishes from both cast members and fellow visitors, adding an extra sprinkle of joy to your day.

If you find yourself at Magic Kingdom, make sure to swing by Sir Mickey's for a touch of pixie dust – because who can resist a bit of magic? Ask one of the Cast Members for this free magical extra. Next, take a spin on Prince Charming Regal Carousel. This is one of my favorite ways to channel your inner child. Trust me, it works like a charm!

For a unique and exciting adventure, consider the Wild Africa Trek at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. Walking over alligators, seeing a variety of animals up close, and enjoying a tasty meal – it's an experience you won't forget. If you're up for a sweet challenge, try the Amorette's Patisserie Cake Decorating Experience at Disney Springs. It's a bit on the pricey side, but the fun and delicious memories are well worth it.

Lastly, consider indulging in an Animated Evening – the Drawn to Life Prix Fixe Dining experience at Disney Springs. Enjoy a scrumptious meal before or after immersing yourself in the enchanting world of Drawn to Life presented by Cirque du Soleil & Disney.

Whichever path you choose, may your birthday be nothing short of a dream come true!
