Well hello there, Shanna. Thanks for popping by to planDisney to get some more of your burning
Disney vacation questions answered.
I recently activated my
IncrediPass this past August at the
Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs. While I could have done it at a
Guest Relations location outside of any of the theme parks, it's become a tradition to go to
Disney Springs on my arrival day. Something about a visit to the
World of Disney for some souvenir shopping and
Gideon's Bakehouse for some Original Peanut Butter Cold Brew just says vacation to me now!
I confirmed with a friendly Cast Member that when activating an Annual Pass to the
Walt Disney World Resort for children under the age of 18, they do not need to be present. However, rules are subject to change, so when you go to activate yours, just inquire with the Cast Member helping you out. If it turns out your children need to be present to activate it, don't worry. You can make
Theme Park Reservations, still required for
Annual Passholders at this time, without activating the pass. You'll just need to activate it before they scan into a theme park for the very first time.
It's so exciting that you have 2 vacations to the Most Magical Place on Earth on the books! I just love it when you sign into your
My Disney Experience account and there are a bunch of trips to look forward to. For your trip with just the two of you, what exciting things do you have planned? I always make sure to schedule at least one romantic date night when it's just my husband and I. For our upcoming trip in April, I'm hoping to snag a dinner reservation at
Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera at
Disney's Riviera Resort. And maybe we'll get a breakfast reservation there too as it has a very unique (and delicious) character dining experience in the mornings!
Shanna, I hope both of your vacations are all you wish them to be and more. As Asha from
Disney's Wish would say, "
Just keep wishing!" If you have any other questions,
you can reach out directly to me and I'd be happy to get you the answers!
Sing out so others can hear you,
Matt
