I'm thinking about booking a Disney cabin for our family trip in December. There are four adults in our party. We will be traveling in two cars. Can both cars come in and where would we park?

Hi Sarah! It is exciting to know you are thinking about enjoying a wonderful Fort Wilderness Cabin vacation. They are cozy and well equipped and all have recently been refurbished. Staying in a cabin has perks that other resort rooms can't offer such as the full size kitchen. They come completely equipped which allows you the ability to cook some of your meals during your stay. There are two tv's with a large flatscreen one mounted on the living room wall. Each cabin has a deck with picnic table and a grill so you get a taste of camping without the hard ground under your bed.

Each cabin site will allow two cars to park there at the same time. If you also rent a golf cart you will need to squeeze that in so you can plug it in each night to re-charge it but it is still all allowed. If you are not going to use one of the cars during your stay you can consider parking it in the over flow lot at the front of the park. Many guests park their extra trailers and vehicles there and it is a safe location.

Fort Wilderness is a very different type of resort and is definitely our favorite. We love how peaceful it is and relaxed and especially appreciate this when we have spent a day in a crowded and hectic park. Many cabins can find deer right outside their windows and the smell of fresh pine trees surrounding you will make you wonder if you are indeed at Walt Disney World. When staying at a cabin you get the best of both Disney worlds!
