I'm team manager bringing 12 families to the Jr Soccer Showcase in November. We'll be there for Thanksgiving. Any recommendations for a group dinner? The team is not staying at a Disney resort. Can we still use magic bands for park admission, meals & F

    Hey there Wendy!

Thank you for bringing us this great question. I love that your team will not only to be competing in the Disney Junior Soccer Showcase at the amazing facilities of the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex but you will also be there during the holidays which are extra magical at Walt Disney World.

If you are a sports Guest staying at a Disney Resort hotel, you and your team will each receive a MagicBand at no additional charge that connects you to all the choices you make with My Disney Experience. Some great features of the Magic Band is the ability to use it as your room key, paid park admission, access to your FastPass+ selections and room charging.

Regarding your Thanksgiving plans, there are lots of wonderful places to eat Thanksgiving dinner at Walt Disney World. Two of my favorites are 'Ohana at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort and Liberty Tree Tavern inside the Magic Kingdom. Both restaurants feature delicious family-style all-you-care-to-enjoy dining which is perfect for large groups.

Make sure to stop by the Welcome Center at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex if you have any questions about your theme park tickets, resort reservations and dining options. The awesome Cast Members at the Welcome Center are your one-stop concierge service for everything Disney.

I hope this helps with your planning. If you have any other questions please come back and see me.

Wishing you a magical Disney Sports vacation and a pixie-dusted day!
