I’m taking my 8 yr old girl to Disney for first time and I really want to make it magical. What are the add ons that I must do to make it a time to remember? Ex: having breakfast in cinderellas castle etc & where do I go to find it so I can book them

Hi Gabby! I am so excited for you and your daughter! Every visit to the Walt Disney World Resort is special, but there is something extra magical about the first-ever visit!

I love that you want to do some special things for your Disney princess! So, let’s start there! Booking a visit to the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is the perfect way for her to become a princess or even an adventurous knight! This magical “makeover” can be booked 60 days prior to your vacation arrival date. It can be booked directly on the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique page on the Walt Disney World Resort website! This is a very popular experience! Be sure to book at your earliest convenience!

Perhaps your daughter is a young Jedi padawan! If she loves Star Wars, then a visit to Droid Depot at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, to assemble her very own droid, might be just what she needs in her battle against the First Order! Reservations for Droid Depot can be made 60 days prior to your vacation arrival date. This experience can be booked on the Droid Depot page on the Walt Disney World Resort website!

I love that you mentioned a special dining experience for you and your daughter to share! Cinderella’s Royal Table is a very popular Disney Dining experience at Magic Kingdom Park! You can make dining reservations 60 days prior to your vacation arrival date. Use the Cinderella’s Royal Table webpage or your My Disney Experience app to make dining reservations. Due to the popularity of this dining experience, be sure to make reservations at your earliest convenience!

If your daughter loves the story of Belle and Beast, then I highly recommend a visit to Be Our Guest Restaurant! Here, you and your daughter will dine in one of the castle rooms from the animated classic! Options include dining in the ballroom where Belle and Beast shared their dance (and fell in love), the Rose Gallery full of portraits of the castle occupants, or the West Wing which is home to the enchanted rose! Similar to the other experiences mentioned, this dining experience can be booked 60 days before your vacation arrival date. It can be booked through the Walt Disney World Resort website or from your My Disney Experience app!

Gabby, one final PRO TIP for you! Be sure to stop by the front desk of your Walt Disney World Resort hotel or Guest Relations in any of the four Disney Parks to request your 1st Visit button! These are complimentary! Consider it Mickey’s gift and a great souvenir for your daughter’s first visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth!

    Dreams do come true!
