I'm taking my 4 yr old to DW for Halloween weekend and MNSSHP. We are definitely visiting Magic Kingdom but should we go to a second park or wait til he's older? What would be the other park I should take him to?

Valerie, all four of the Disney parks have wonderful things for young children to enjoy! If you have the time I suggest you do check out another park during your stay.

It is hard to recommend as I don't know the interests of your four year old.  If there is a strong interest in animals then definitely head to the Animal Kingdom park.  My four year old grandson loves to head to Rafiki's Planet Watch where he can brush the resident sheep and goats and possibly touch and learn about an exotic animal.  Of course he loves the Safari ride where you feel like you are in the animal's native lands. When it comes to shows one of Disney's best is in this park.  Make sure you see the Festival of the Lion King if you go!

Hollywood Studios includes such attractions as Toy Story Mania and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. There is a great stunt show for little boys and the Beauty and the Beast show for the little princesses!

EPCOT has several great options too and my absolute favorite is Turtle Talk With Crush.  It is a must for all guests whether they have children or not as it will make your day and have you laughing loudly!  If your four year old is 40" then they can also enjoy Soarin which is a good introductory ride for the little ones.  Energy is a ride for the dinosaur lovers although it can be a bit long.

So as you can see there is fun for all ages in all the parks. Perhaps you can choose one that meets the most interests for your four year old and explore it during your stay!
