Hi! I'm taking my 4 yr old daughter for the 1st time in May. What parades, shows or rides are a must see for that age? What character breakfasts? We have 4 days, other than Magic Kingdom, where else is good for her? Thanks!

    HI Jennifer,

It's so great to help another New Jersey Mom plan a wonderful Walt Disney World trip. There are tons of great places to take your 4 year old princess. I have a 3 year old princess myself, so I'm always thinking of classic and new shows, attractions and experiences to take her to on our vacation.

If your little one is into Disney princesses, I'd say the first stop should be to Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique for a Princess transformation. This is one of the most memorable experiences for a little girl. There is a location within Magic Kingdom and in Downtown Disney. Give them a call at (407) 939-7895 to make a reservation.

Disney of Fantasy Festival Parade will be one of the best parades you and your little girl will ever see. Walt Disney World just announced that this amazing parade will start on March 9th and will be the new 3pm Magic Kingdom parade. If your family loves Peter Pan, Anna and Elsa from Frozen, and Rapunzel, you will be in for a treat.

I always recommend that families with smaller children spend time at Animal Kingdom. It's a slower paced park filled with lots of experiences for kids of all ages. My kids love to visit Dinoland USA and we have to stop into It's Tough to be a Bug for some 3D fun. To extend your day, be sure to sign your daughter up to be a Wilderness Explorer. She'll have a blast doing the scavenger hunt, while collecting badges. It's my son's favorite part of the park!

For character breakfasts, you can't beat Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary Resort. We really enjoyed our meal with the classic Disney characters. If your daughter loves Disney Junior, you may want to take her to Hollywood & Vine in Hollywood Studios for the Disney Junior Play 'n Dine breakfast. Doc McStuffins and Sofia the First will be there!

I'm out of space here, but please feel free to come back and ask me any other questions you may have about your trip, Jennifer. I'm always here to help.
