Hello, I’m taking my 5-year-old daughter for the first time and we are going to be at the parks mon 4/27-Th 4/30 we are visiting each park during our trip which park would you recommend for us to do each day based on the least amount of crowds? Thank you!

Hey there, Alejandra, and welcome to planDisney!

It feels like just yesterday I was planning my goddaughter's 5th birthday trip to the Walt Disney World Resort. Just like your baby, it was her first time, and just like you, I wanted to plan it out just right. I'm happy to share some tips with you to get you just where you want to be.

There are a bunch of different ways you could mix and match 4 days in the Most Magical Place on Earth. But if I were you, this is what I would do to maximize the magic. Monday, I would start at EPCOT. Weekend crowds of locals won't be present to overwhelm the EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival, and Luminous The Symphony of Us is a stunning fireworks display. On Tuesday, frolic with your little one at Magic Kingdom to participate in the classics like soaring with Dumbo the Flying Elephant and dreaming big at the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade. I've found that since a lot of families like to begin and end their vacations there, that second weekday doesn't usually feel so packed. Participate in a wild Wednesday at Animal Kingdom, packed with treks on Kilimanjaro Safaris and visits to Pandora on Avatar Flight of Passage(if baby girl is tall enough). And finish off strong on Thursday at Disney's Hollywood Studios with Slinky Dog Dash and fun shows like Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After and Beauty and the Beast - Live on Stage

Pro-tip: When my mom and I took our goddaughter for that first visit, a stroller was the key to our little adventurer's longevity. We managed to have a great trip with virtually no tantrums just because she wasn't overly tired from all the walking. Consider renting one for your sweet girl at the stroller rental locations located near the front of each park.

Pro, PRO-tip: While rides, parades, and meet and greets can feel like the star players for Guests, don't neglect the shows like the ones I mentioned earlier or others like For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-A-Long Celebration and Festival of the Lion King. On a hot day, those breaks from the heat filled with song and spectacle will be great for you and your little one.

Alejandra, I hope your vacation is full of wonder and sweet memories made with your best girl. If you have any other questions, please feel free to come back for another chat. You've got a friend in me!

    Happy planning!
