Im taking my 2 and 4 year olds to disney in the next couple of weeks. Any suggestions on clothing? I've been hundreds of times to disney but never been brave enough to go in the summer heat. :o

Hi Denia! Since you are from Florida I am sure you understand the weather there better then anyone. And yes you are brave to hit the heat and humidity but so many people do it and have a grand visit so don't let it stop you now.

The important thing to remember is the sun screen and hats and sunglasses. Your little one might not keep sunglasses on but certainly keep a hat for the two year old. Light colored clothing is best to keep cool and consider taking a change of clothes with you. The parks will have several locations where there are sidewalk sprinklers where you can let the kiddos enjoy getting as wet as they wish. But have the dry clothes ready when they are done! You might also check out some of the UV treated clothing available at sports stores as these will breathe well and keep the sun's rays at bay.

Also have fans for the stroller and some light weight rain gear for those darn afternoon showers that are persistent in the summer months. Check out these other added tips for Staying Cool in the Parks.  Stay hydrated and take your time and just enjoy what you can. Don't make it a marathon or everyone will lose steam fast and not enjoy the visit.
