I'm taking my 3 & 5 year old to Disney this November. I'd like to stay in the Deluxe Hotels for the added room and plush. Which one is better, the Wilderness or Animal Kingdom? My son wants a room with bunk beds which is why I picked these two. Tha

November in Florida is warm and never too hot and humid- a great month to visit Walt Disney World Resort.

Our family has enjoyed the bunk beds in both Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge and Disney's Wilderness Lodge. Either choice will give you large rooms with luxurious touches, resort amenities, excellent dining choices, and awesome pools.  Your dilemma has a great outcome no matter which resort you choose.

Disney's Wilderness Lodge is just a boat ride away from the Magic Kingdom and closer to Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios than Animal Kingdom Lodge. Boat and bike rentals, fishing, and the erupting Fire Rock Geyser are all found at this resort. The hotel has the feel of a grand National Park hotel built at the beginning of the 20th century at the edge of a vast expanse of wilderness. While here surrounded by Craftsman style architecture you forget a 21st century marvel of a theme park is on the other side of Bay Lake.

Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is close to Disney's Animal Kingdom. The overwhelmingly incredible feature of this resort is the savanna of African animals grazing outside the lobby and many of guest rooms. Zebras, giraffes, gazelles, and ostriches roam the four savannas in a remarkable recreation of the African bush. Two zero entry pools, the Arusha Rock viewing platform, and bike rentals are part of this resort.

Enjoy agonizing over sleeping near zebras or geysers.
