Hi, I'm taking my 3 year old daughter to Disney in April and want to take her to the salon and to dine with Cinderella and characters. Any advice? Should I purchase a princess dress before hand? Do you need to make an appointment for the salon?

    Hi Patricia,

With your vacation just around the corner I will recommend making some reservations for your little princess!

The Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is a great place to transform your little one into royalty!  My girls each chose the Fairy Tale Princess style (they also have Pop Princess, Disney Diva styles) and it was a highlight of our vacation.  A reservation is highly recommend, and you can make one by calling 407-939-7895.  This is a popular activity, so I wouldn't wait to call.

You'll certainly be ready to dine with the princesses once her makeover is complete, I would suggest Cinderella's Royal Table to complete your day of princess pampering.  This restaurant is located inside Cinderella Castle and although can be a bit pricey, it will be a magical experience!  I suggest calling 407-939-3463 as soon as possible to make your reservations.

As for the dresses, you can certainly purchase one with your Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique package but if you can find one beforehand either online or from her current collection I think you could save a significant amount of money on the package.  When we brought our own princess dresses, I put them in large ziploc bags and removed the air.  They compacted down really nicely and didn't take up a lot of space.  Also be sure to pack an extra pair of clothes as the dresses can tend to get hot and itchy while exploring the parks.  My girls were just as happy to wear their tiaras and pink sashes they were given at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and did not feel out of place without dresses.

    Have a great trip!
