I'm taking my two kids (10 & 5) to the parks for Thanksgiving. None of my friends/family are able to travel with us. Will my daughter be allowed to ride certain rides that I can't take the 5 yr old on by herself? We'll go through line with her :)

Hi Heather!  Congratulations on your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World!  I bet this will be one Thanksgiving that will have your children giving lots of thanks!

You will be happy to know that there are so many attractions that will not require the three of you to split up.  However, when you do have to, your 10 year old will be able to ride by herself, or, sometimes, they may pair her up with another "single" rider waiting in line close by.

I do recommend that you always make sure you inform the Cast Member attending that attraction that there are THREE of you together.  That way, even if you are unable to be seated in the exact same "car", you can at least be seated within the same "car-load" (if that makes sense).  For instance, on Rock 'n Roller Coaster, you can't all three be seated in the same seat, but you can be seated in the same limo!

And I would highly recommend that you make sure that you and the 5 year old are seated first when you are unable to ride with the 10 year old.  That way, you will also get off of the attraction first, and be able to be standing there waiting for your 10 year old.  This is just a safety precaution, which will prevent any instance of leaving your 10 year old standing alone at the end of the attraction waiting for you.

I wish you all many magical memories and a Happy Thanksgiving on your vacation in Walt Disney World!
