I'm taking my two daughters 9 and 11 on a Marvel Day at Sea cruise in February. They adorably are obsessed with Thor and Loki and the little one wants to make a gift in the form of a tesseract to give to Loki on the cruise. Is this allowed?

    Greetings Nicole!

Welcome to planDisney! As a fellow Marvel fan, I totally understand you wanting to experience a voyage with a Marvel Day at Sea on the Disney Magic with your family. It will be jam-packed with so many experiences featuring Super Heroes, movie marathons, and activities like family trivia, a Marvel 101 hero session, and an Animation Academy.

Even though Thor and Loki are busy saving the universe and burdened with glorious purpose, they will definitely be making appearances during your Marvel Day at Sea sailing! Given that your girls are gung-ho about these Asgardian brothers, I’m certain that this cruise will be absolutely EPIC in their eyes!

Aww, what a creative idea your daughter has to gift the Tesseract to Loki. Believe me, he will need all the help he can get with that one since Loki has a hard time keeping it in his possession! While I believe that the character interactions will all be from a distance for the time being, I know that the Cast Members assisting the Marvel heroes can at their discretion pass along something to the God of Mischief. After all, they don’t work for the Time Variance Authority (TVA) and will be glad to help out Loki...even if he is a Variant.

If Loki’s time traveling through many timelines makes it impossible for him to be on the ship or if he is onboard and the Cast Members cannot give him anything, then here's another idea. Leave the Tesseract on the bed in your stateroom with a note to Loki. I’ll bet your stateroom host can work some magic and even leave a surprise behind for your Marvel-loving kid that is sure to make her day! You might want to let the stateroom host know how special this is to your daughter and that she made the Tesseract just for Loki.

Nicole, I’m happy to ASSEMBLE more tips if you think of more questions before your cruise. Summon your powers and message us at planDisney; we will be ready for the new mission! Wishing you all a MARVELous cruise from start to finish!

    SEA ya real soon!
