    Hello! I'm taking my two boys on their first Disney Vaca this Oct. The crusie portion falls over Halloween so my question is: is there anything special for my kiddos to do on the boat (ie trick or treating) or should I get tickets for MNSSHP while @WDW?

    I'm so happy to hear you'll be sailing during October. Disney Cruise Line goes ALL OUT for Halloween, so your boys are in for a real treat! I'm also excited to hear you'll be experiencing my favorite kind of vacation - a Land and Sea Adventure!

    In the fall of 2014, Disney Cruise line had quite a successful run with their Halloween on the High Seas cruises! The ship will be will busy with lots of fun holiday enhancements and entertainment, including trick-or-treating and costume parties. While they have yet to announce their exact plans for next year's sailings, you can see a list of recent Halloween activities and experiences here.

    Halloween is my favorite holiday, so of course, it's my favorite time to take a Disney vacation! Since you'll be spending a portion of your trip at Walt Disney World Resort, why not enjoy Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party too? Seeing the Headless Horseman ride through the streets of Magic Kingdom is so amazing, and the parade is incredible. Did I mention the treats? You'll find trick-or-treat locations all over the park, and lots of unique Character Meet and Greets, too!
