G’day, Jo!
Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I can empathize with your plight. A journey to a galaxy far, far away is prone to have some challenges along the way. And it’s not like everybody has easy access to a
YT-1300 Corellian freighter to help make that journey. It’s not exactly a luxury First Order Star Destroyer, but “the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy” would be a great way to get from here to there.
The blade that comes with your custom-built lightsaber from
Savi's Workshop – Handbuilt Lightsabers is removable. By gently pressing it further into the hilt then giving it a twist, the blade comes out. The blade is about 31 inches (79 cm) long with an additional connector that is 3.25 inches (8 cm) long for a total of about 34.25 inches (87 cm). The gatherers at Savi’s Workshop only have one blade length available. But, with the exchange of a few “credits,” you may be able to convince
Dok Ondar to part with a shorter blade (26 inches, 66 cm, plus connector length) that is compatible with your new lightsaber.
Another option available to you is to hire the services of someone to ship your lightsaber off-planet for you. Normally, one might consider hiring a “legitimate businessman” to help transport your new Jedi weapon home. But
Hondo Ohnaka may be too busy seeking
coaxium for the Resistance at this time. So, ironically, I recommend seeking help from the First Order. Simply stop by
First Order Cargo to request shipment to the destination of your choice. Shipping prices vary based on destination country and total original price paid for the items being shipped. Show them the original receipts of your items and they will take care of you from there.
I hope you enjoy your visit to
Batuu and to the rest of the Disneyland Resort, Jo. Please come back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with any additional questions you may have.
