    If I'm taking part in the Princess Half Marathon, do I need to buy a Disney pass that includes access to the Wide World of Sports Complex as the pack pick up is there? We'd otherwise just buy the Magic Your Way Base passes.

    HI Emma!  The Princess Half Marathon is tons of fun!  You will love it!
    Technically, you don't need any type of theme park ticket or pass to participate in the races.  The Wide World of Sports does not require anything for admission when you go to the packet pick-up.  And while you can buy theme park tickets at a discount when you register for the race, you don't have to have one.  The race will begin and end in the Epcot parking lot.  So, you will only need tickets if you want to explore the parks either before or after your race (and who wouldn't???), but you don't HAVE to have one.  If you are wanting to explore the parks during your trip, then the Magic Your Way option is just fine!
