Hi Jessica! Welcome to planDisney.
Oh Boy! In four short days, it looks like Cool Aunt and niece day at
Walt Disney World Resort during
The World's Most Magical Celebration. You guys need to keep your eyes open for the golden
Disney Fab 50 Character Collection statues. They will make the perfect background to snap photos of your niece to share with family and friends. You can find Mickey and Minnie Mouse in the Hub at
Magic Kingdom Park.
Theme Park Tickets need to be claimed by the purchaser of the tickets. In person, this may be done at any ticket booth located outside of the parks or at the
Ticket Center at Disney Springs. Please have your photo ID, the original form of payment, and proof of purchase handy. I see you are from the Sunshine State, if a
Florida Resident Theme Park Ticket was purchased, I would have
proof of residency as well.
If you wish to avoid this step, with a ticket confirmation number or ID number, why not set up a
Disney MagicMobile Digital Pass? Because of the age of your niece, whoever manages her profile will need to complete this step. First, link your niece's theme park ticket to the
My Disney Experience Mobile App. Open the app, click on the three horizontal lines in the bottom right-hand corner, select "Tickets and Passes," tap on the "+" sign, followed by "Link Tickets & Passes," and enter the ID code or scan the barcode. Now, tap on "Disney MagicMobile," choose your niece, and follow the prompts. Once, her pass is created, it can be shared to your phone if you are not the manager of her account. Next, you can add the Disney MagicMobile Pass to your Apple Wallet, Apple Watch, or digital wallet. I suggest setting your pass to "Express Mode" which will eliminate the need to unlock your phone at the gate. Finally, if your niece has active
MagicBands, once her ticket is linked to her profile, she can use her MagicBand to enter the parks.
No matter which park you gals visit, stay until the sun goes down and Disney icons come to shimmering EARidescent life during
Beacons of Magic. My favorite is
Spaceship Earth at
EPCOT.
Keeping it Magic,
Cindy
