I'm taking my 14 month old on the Disney Dream this month. Since he is not potty trained, I read he is only allowed in Nemo's reef? Is this correct? Thanks.. Susan

    Hi, Susan!

Being from Florida, you've probably been around plenty of pools and know that if a bio-hazard occurs in a pool they simply drain and clean the pool on the spot. Of course, it usually shuts down the pool for the day.  So, you can guess that pools on cruise ships present greater challenges by having to drain it while in route. Plus, can you imagine not having access to a pool for even one day on a short cruise to the Bahamas?

Therefore, you're right...only children who are bathroom trained are allowed in the pools. Yet, Nemo's Reef is a fantastic alternative and provides little ones with covered splashy fun among the pop jets and bubblers.  My big kids threatened to slip on a swim diaper and join in the fun as they watched from the sidelines!

Hopefully, that gets you excited about the fun your little prince will have...and I'll tell you as a mom that you'll have less to worry about, too! Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation. Bon voyage!
