Hi - I'm taking my 11 mnth twins to Disneyland and wanted to confirm that if the double stroller I have fits in the measurements given, I'm good to go. I was considering rentals, but have heard there are no padding and not ideal for infants.

Hi there, Michelle, and thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I hope you’re enjoying a weekend full of Disney magic!

Speaking of magic, there’s nothing more magical than bringing your babies to the Disneyland Resort for the first time. I love experiencing the Happiest Place on Earth through the eyes of my children. There are so many sights and sounds for them to experience, and I can’t wait for you to soak them all in!

It’s always a good idea to check out the latest Disneyland Resort Rules before your visit, so you can be sure to “Know Before You Go!” As of May 1, 2019, the Rules were updated to change the maximum stroller size allowed into the parks to 31” in width by 52” in length. You’ll want to measure from the widest and longest parts of your stroller to make sure it will fit within these guidelines. The good news is that most single and double strollers will still fit within these parameters.

Upon arrival at the Disneyland Resort, you’ll notice 31” x 52” rectangular boxes painted on the ground in the parking areas and near security checkpoints, so you can double check your stroller size before entering. Also, though wagons have always been prohibited, stroller wagons are also prohibited now from entering the Resort.

If your double stroller doesn’t fit within the size restriction, you have several rental options to consider. First, you can rent a stroller from the Disneyland Resort at the Stroller Rental location, which is just outside the Main Entrance of Disneyland Park. The Resort offers a single jogging-style stroller, or a new, tandem-style double stroller, similar to the Joovy Caboose Double Stroller. The double stroller has more padding than the single stroller, and the front seat also reclines. There’s also storage located underneath the front seat.

Another option to consider is renting from City Stroller Rentals, which is a local vendor of the Disneyland Resort. They offer several different styles of single and double strollers which fit within the new guidelines. City Stroller Rentals can even deliver your stroller to your hotel room upon arrival.

Last but not least, you’ll want to get familiar with the Baby Care Centers – there’s a location inside each park. These Centers are the perfect spot to change, feed, or nurse your babies. They also sell baby necessities, from diapers to wipes to formula, should you need anything.

I hope this information helps. Wishing you a wonderful weekend and a Fantasmic week ahead!
