Thanks for bringing another great question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Jessica!
Oh what a fabulous birthday present for your little sister! You will definitely want to get her connected via your
Family & Friends list on your
My Disney Experience account so you can make
FastPass+ plans and
dining reservations, too. Since your sister is under the age of 13, she will need an adult to manage her account. You can either have your parents set her up (if they have their own My Disney Experience accounts) or you can include her with yours. Either way, you’ll want to go to the “My Profile” section of your My Disney Experience account (online or via the
My Disney Experience mobile app) and then choose “Family & Friends list.” From here, choose “Add a Guest.” Since she’s under 13, choose “I’ll enter their name and age.” Then just provide the requested information and you’ll be good to go!
After your sister has been added to your Family & Friends list, you’ll be able to link her ticket to her name. Then when it’s time to make your FastPass+ selections (up to 60 days in advance if you’re staying at an official
Walt Disney World Resort hotel or up to 30 days in advance otherwise), her name will be available as a part of your planning Party. Should you run into any issues, reach out to the "
My Disney Experience, MagicBands and FastPass+" helpline, and a Cast Member should be able to help you out.
Consider making a dining reservation for a
meal with one of her favorite Disney Characters or treating her to a
special cake to celebrate her birthday. Also make sure you ask a Cast Member for a complimentary “Happy Birthday” button for her to display proudly during your trip. Please let us know if you have any other questions about planning your Magical birthday surprise!
We hope to see you real soon,
Amy
