HI, I'm taking my kids (7yrs-boy & 4 yrs-girl) to the Animal Kingdom and may only have time to do the Lion King show or the FInding Nemo show, which show would you recommend? thanks

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Rebecca!

Oh - that is a tough choice because both Finding Nemo - The Musical and the Festival of the Lion King are excellent shows and you really can't go wrong with either choice.

If your kids are huge Nemo fans then you should take them to Finding Nemo - The Musical.  They will enjoy seeing the characters they know and love. They will have a great time singing to the songs they are familiar with and can sing along to during the show.  You will be amazed at how the puppeteers deliver their performances.  The show is bright with brilliant colors and extremely well done.

Having said that, Festival of the Lion King would get my vote.  At first I thought this was going to be just another reenactment of the Lion King. Boy, was I wrong.  You are completely immersed in this performance. There are some fabulous singers and dancers, huge puppets and the sets are unbelievable. My sons' favorites were the tumble monkeys. They couldn't stop talking about them. I totally agreed with them. I could have watched them and the aerial ballet performers all day. Its very uplifting and I was totally captivated.
