I'm taking my 2 grandsons to wdw along with my pregnant daughter. She won't be able to ride some of the rides so that just leaves me to ride with both the boys. Can we use the rider switch with the kids?

Welcome to Disney Parks Moms Panel, Janice!

A multi-generational visit to Walt Disney World is my favorite kind of trip. You are all going to have so much fun touring the magic together!

Walt Disney World's Rider Switch will be the perfect way for you to ride the attractions that your daughter cannot experience, allowing you to enjoy them one at a time with each grandson. This system is perfect for a family such as yours, as your daughter can wait in a designated area with one grandson while you ride with the other. When you return to your daughter, you'll simply take your Rider Switch pass along with your other grandson back to the attraction without having to wait in line a second time. Easy peasy!

Currently, this is the list of attractions that offer Rider Switch:

    Magic Kingdom Park
    The Barnstormer
    Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
    Space Mountain
    Splash Mountain
    Stitch’s Great Escape
    Tomorrowland Indy Speedway

    Frozen Ever After
    Mission: SPACE
    Test Track

    Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith
Star Tours® - The Adventures Continue
    Twilight Zone Tower of Terror

    Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park
Expedition Everest - Legend of the Forbidden Mountain®
    Kali River Rapids
    Primeval Whirl

Have the most magical trip ever, Janice! I am sure that you will, too, as one of three generations touring together.

Send more questions as you plan, too; we love to help!
