I'm taking my girlfriend in July '13 to Epcot for her first time in like 15 years. Do you guys recommend purchasing a package or just the hotel and tickets seperate? Also does the $200 deopsit get subtracted from the total cost?

    Hi Joseph,

What a sweet man you are to take your girlfriend to Epcot next year!  You definitely sound like a "keeper."

If you want the most hassle-free and cost-effective vacation, I heartily encourage you to purchase a vacation package that includes your hotel, theme park tickets, and a Disney Dining Plan.  If you and your girlfriend enjoy great food at table service restaurants, the most budget-friendly way to do that is to include a dining plan in your package and you can only include the Disney Dining Plan if you purchase theme park tickets as part of your package.  Does that make sense?  If you have further questions on using the Disney Dining Plan, don't hesitate to ask.  My family uses it regularly.

And, good news!  Any deposit you put down on your vacation package will be deducted from the overall cost.

Thanks for posting your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel!
