Hi there, Ginny, and welcome to planDisney! I'm so glad you're here today with this great question! It sounds like you're planning a super fun visit to
Walt Disney World Resort and will have a little one in tow - how exciting!
Ginny, I reached out to a helpful Cast Member who let me know that as long as you and the child are linked in your Family & Friends within
My Disney Experience, you should be good to go at the entrance to the
Disney Theme Parks! There's a chance that you'll need to have a quick chat with a helpful Cast Member - this is something my family has run into recently, because we can never remember which adult's fingerprint was used for which child! It hasn't been a problem, thankfully, and we breeze right into the parks.
Did you know that there is a
Baby Care Center located at each of the four Disney Theme Parks? I recently learned that they're not just for babies! Happily, little ones are welcome to stop by, relax for a bit, use the restroom if needed, and grab any necessities like water bottles and snacks that are available for purchase. It's a great sensory break - sometimes all of the excitement can be a bit overwhelming! Baby Care Centers are also currently the only place in the parks where you can find over-the-counter medications specifically formulated for little ones, rather than the adult medications available at merchandise locations.
Ginny, I hope you and your friend's daughter have the very best time during your visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth! Please stop back by
planDisney with any other questions you have as you prepare for your visit. I, too, have a little Princess about this age, and I'm happy to give more suggestions and tips if you need any!
See you real soon!
Jennifer
