I'm taking my family to WDW 12/3 - 12/7 (wife and 2 year old) and will be staying at the Boardwalk in a Garden Suite. What is the best way to get to MK? We're trying to avoid the buses and we will have a rental car.

    Hi Brett!

The BoardWalk is a fantastic, deluxe property with a beautiful lobby, wonderful restaurants, a fantastic pool and an amazing location!  You have chosen a wonderful place to call "home" on your Disney vacation.

If you prefer not to take Disney buses, you have two options to get to the Magic Kingdom.  You could drive to the Transportation and Ticket Center (where the parking lot for the Magic Kingdom is located), and then take either a monorail or boat to the main gates of the park.  Alternatively, you could walk through Epcot via the International Gateway Entrance (it is about a 7 minute walk at a leisurely pace from the BoardWalk) to the monorail and on to the park.  (Again, you will need to stop at the Transportation and Ticket Center before proceeding to the Magic Kingdom.)

    Have a wonderful trip!
