I'm taking my family to Disney for the first time ever! We will visit Magic Kingdowm and I want to know if there are any rides I can take my 2 year old son and my 1 year old daughter on? Also, we are going from Dec. 22-27th any idea about the weather?

Holiday trips to Disney are always festive, Tamara.  I hope you have a great celebration!  As for the attractions, take a look at this handy CHART to find a listing of height requirements for attractions.  Disney doesn't have age requirements for rides, but rather height requirements.  If the attraction you wish to experience doesn't have one, even the youngest of children are welcome to experience it.  Of course, you should use your discretion as to the attractions that might be scary for your little ones.

As for weather, December can be a fickle month.  We've visited in December and been treated to unseasonably warm days, as well as downright frigid temperatures.  Your best bet is to keep an eye on the weather forecast as your trip approaches.  I would suggest dressing in layers no matter what the forecast is.  Layering sweatshirts and windbreakers over t-shirts allows you to be prepared for most anything Mother Nature will dish out.  Have a great time!

I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists.
