Ahoy there, Ricardo! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question for us. I’m excited you are getting ready to sail the high seas on a Disney cruise soon. It is always a great idea to fly in at least a day before Embarkation Day in case of flight delays or cancellations. Flying can be quite unpredictable these days so it’s better to be safe!
We love the convenience of staying at one of the
Disney Resort Hotels and using the
ground transportation prior to cruising from Port Canaveral. We get to leave our tagged luggage in our hotel room when we check out and Bell Services will take them to the shuttle; then our luggage “magically” appears in front of our stateroom by the evening of Embarkation Day.
Hyatt Regency Orlando Airport is a non-Disney hotel that provides ground transportation to Disney Cruise Line’s terminal in Port Canaveral. My family and I have stayed here prior to our last sailing, and it was a fun experience being inside a busy airport. Don’t worry, the rooms are quite sound-proof and being a light-sleeper myself, I had no issues with the noise level!
Another non-Disney hotel option that provides ground transportation to Port Canaveral is not located in Orlando, unfortunately, but it’s closer to the cruise terminal. Hilton Cocoa Beach Oceanfront is about 5.5 miles from Port Canaveral, but you will be able to book ground transportation through Disney Cruise Line.
To reserve your ground transportation or
pre-cruise hotel stay,
contact Disney Cruise Line and a friendly Cast Member will gladly assist you.
I hope this information is helpful for you, Ricardo, as you continue to plan the logistics for your upcoming Disney cruise. Please don’t hesitate to visit us on planDisney again if you have more questions.
Bon voyage,
Kiki
