One of my favorite little Disney traditions is the celebration button. It’s such a simple touch, but it invites Cast Members and even fellow Guests to join in on your special moment with warm wishes all day long. You can receive a complimentary button at
Guest Relations in any of the parks or at the Front Desk of your Disney Resort hotel. They’ll even personalize it by writing your celebration right on the spot.
If you’d like to elevate it from simple to spectacular, bring your button to
Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe at Magic Kingdom. For a small fee, their talented team can add special touches that turn a standard celebration button into a beautifully customized souvenir. It’s a lovely way to create a lasting memento…especially for honoring your daughter’s 16th birthday in such an unforgettable place.
If you’re thinking about doing something a little extra special for her big day, I can’t recommend a
Capture Your Moment photo session enough. It’s basically a mini private photo shoot right inside the park! You’ll have dedicated time with a
Disney PhotoPass photographer, which means you’re not rushed and can really soak in the moment.
You can choose an iconic backdrop, like Cinderella Castle, and even plan coordinating outfits if you want it to feel like a true sweet sixteen photo celebration. Sessions are typically 20 minutes, and you can book two back-to-back if you’d like more time and variety. It’s such a fun, relaxed way to celebrate, and you’ll end up with beautiful photos that capture this milestone in the most magical way.
